He is also a Philanthropist he did not like to talk about it much because he believes that charity is something we do to help others it’s not a thing to show off.

Those who are in need can eat without paying, by participating. Participating means washing dishes, working in the garden.
Those who need the most are always served first at Soul Kitchen. There are no requirements for reservation at Soul Kitchen. Meal at the soul kitchen is served at a shared table in order of arrival. This method of serving helps to enhance your social interaction, everyone seems the same at the table despite their economic condition.
The menu at Soul Kitchen has 3 courses inspired by American cuisine. The menu of the soul kitchen changes every 10 days.
First course ― Either soup or salad.
Main Course ― have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.
Dessert ― varies according to the season.
Soul kitchen uses nutritious and organic ingredients that come from their garden.
Jon Bon Jovi is not only providing food but also providing shelter to them with his foundation JBJ. He built homes in the city of Philadelphia for homeless people. He also provided funds for the construction of a center to help teenage mothers and babies with the medical care he provides shelter to them.
JBJ foundation is led by Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley. They have a clear motive “To break the cycle of hunger, poverty, and homelessness through developing partnerships, creating programs and providing grant funding to support innovative community benefit organizations”.
They are helping the people to develop a skill so they can earn make a living with it. They taught them to write an effective resume to perform better at job interviews. They provide free pieces of advice to the people on how they can make their life better.
